New sorority for university Greeks

Written by , Posted in Around Campus, Greek Life, Living

The Alpha Xi Delta sorority will join Temple University Greek Life in the spring of 2014 as the fifth National Panhellenic Conference Organization on campus.

The staff at the National Alpha Xi Delta chapter will meet with students and staff to organize in preparation for the sorority’s debut. This will mark a five-year relationship with the university, meant to ensure the organization’s success and longevity.

Members who commit early have the opportunity to become founding sisters and help foster the organization’s values as it is introduced to Temple University.

“We are excited and honored for this opportunity to establish our newest colony at Temple University,” said Sandi Edwards, Alpha Xi Delta’s National President. “Temple prides itself on its superior educational opportunities for its students and diverse student population.  We look forward to working with the University to establish an Alpha Xi Delta chapter on campus and inspire countless young women at Temple to realize their potential.”
