Wistar Institute and Eastern State Penitentiary offer affordable activities for Valentine’s Day

The Wistar Institute at 3601 Spruce St. opened the Nikon Small World Photography Exhibition on February 3. This exhibition showcases microscopic photographs showcasing nature that would not be seen by the naked eye alone. Tickets are free. Stop by from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m Monday through Friday until March 7.
Afterward, stop by Fairmount’s Eastern State Penitentiary. ESP is offering special discounted Valentine’s Day tours from February 14-16. Tickets are buy-one-get-one free if purchased in advance online. General admission tickets for students with ID are $10/ticket.
